Bio

James W. Dalton is a Wyoming native, born and raised in Sheridan. He has been married to his wife, Emily, for 18 years, and together they have two sons, Ethan and Noah. James and his family are deeply rooted in the Sheridan community, where they enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

In 2008, James graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, Summa Cum Laude. He continued his education at the University of Wyoming College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor degree, Magna Cum Laude, in 2012. James is widely recognized for his expertise in Elder Law and is sought after by clients across Wyoming for his deep understanding of complex legal issues affecting seniors.

Since being admitted to the Wyoming State Bar in 2012, James has dedicated his career to advocating for the rights of seniors and their families. His journey into Elder Law began during his law school years, where he worked as a law clerk for a well-respected Elder Law attorney in Cheyenne. James’ passion for this field has only grown over the years, and he continues to provide compassionate and expert legal representation to his clients at Lipton Law Group.
